We work extremely hard to create relationships and connections with other companies so we can provide opportunities for everyone. We have had five incredible years of diverse programming, and we’d love your support in aiming higher and providing more to the artists that make up the BVOB community. We were founded on two core principles – fostering community and making the creation of art more accessible – and these principles remain at the core of everything we do. Look to our annual Summer Fresh Festival, which provides fully subsidized rehearsal and performance space to dozens of artistic teams each year. Look to our year-round networking events, which continue to connect creators as they bring more art into the world. In our short existence, we’ve been able to support hundreds of artists in not just presenting their own work, but in engaging with their contemporaries, investing in a more rigorous development process, and finding a wider platform that respects the invaluable perspective of these historically underrepresented storytellers. We accept donations from our amazing community to help us supplement the resources our connections can't cover.
